The English Premier League Pridiction 09-10 Season

So Last week we had the BIG CLASH at Stamford Bridge! Result : Che 1-0 ManU
Result was mostly expected, but not on performance.
Now Chelsea have already beaten top two teams of last year at home.. &
now we have a 5 point gap between Manchester United & Chelsea.

While Chelsea's lead was expected at top the biggest surprise was Arsenal, though Arsenal are winning most of the matches by large margin, their defeat to Manchester City meant most people wrote them off as a Championship threat.
But their comeback has seen Arsenal move up to no 2 in table with one match in hand... which can take them up to 2 points behind leaders Chelsea.

Everyone knew that with all of the spending done (Mostly By Manchester City) at start of the season, one of the BIG 4 would slip up...
Everyone also expected that Manchester City would break the Big 4,
but only one of these two happened,
City even with so many big names bought are not finishing off teams which ended up in several drawn matches & They yet havent broken the top 4!
Though City have just lost one match that against Manchester United, they stand at
no 6 in the table with Aston Villa & Tottenham above them & performing better!

A Team who has done way worse then expected is Liverpool, currently at 7 & struggling both in BPL & the Champions League! Last years strongest Championship contenders to United are this year not even in Champions League qualification spot.
Injuries to Torres & Gerrard havent helped them & neither has the loss of their
playmaker Alonso!

At other end of table West Ham, Pompey & Wolves are in the bottom three, Expected & Unexpected!
The Two other considerable teams in league are newcomers Burnley & Stoke City
Burnley who have already beaten Manchester United are at 10, while Stoke occupy the no 9 spot both are in very much respectable positions at half time in the season!
But Teams from no 9 to no 17 are just separated by 6 points which means movement
is very much possible at the other half of season!


So here are my Predictions for the End of Season :
Chelsea are my favorites to win the League while Arsenal would come 2nd,
Manchester United Should end up in 3rd & Tottenham or Villa taking the 4th spot!
This is just same as the table which is right now!
Hull, Wolves & Pompey are my relegation contenders. & Surprise of the season (Negative) would probably be Manchester City who would be struggling to get into Europa league! While other surprise would be Burnley who should easily
finish in the top 12!
